The historical significance of my early days is important in that provides a basis for who I am today (I am totally writing on the fly). A bondage rigger in training! While I know American Style rope very well having been in it many times, as seen below in my old house with my Ex2 in Atwater Village, I am now learning Shibari. As one says, one does not know Shibari or Kinbaku, one is a student until one becomes a practitioner. Although, that is an arm binder I am in, that is pretty much American Style Bondage mind-you. If you can zip-it, strap-it or buckle-it, you got it!
I am going to become more reflective soon of these times. I posted two photos recently and awoke today and thought, “why just post the photos?” Perhaps I see they were merely sparks or forethought of what I see I am going to start to do.
It’s okay now to positively reflect on my past days with the Ex2, it was who I was and not ashamed of proclaiming I was married to a dominatrix (sounds like a good book, he?), it molded me, that is my Scene presence developed, footprint and path; through a like minded and understanding partnership in Fetish (run on sentence). The Ex2 supported me in my journey, supported me being Delilah, and it grew spontaneously, organically; and I supported her, through thick and thin as she became her own in the Vanilla world. Same with friends, like Sandra Gibbons, another very influential person in my life, whom I bow too. Or TV Victoria, and others, Mrs. D.
And another, lesser known bright soul, KikoRope. She helped me recently and was my bridge into Shibari. Whom I am enamored by and love, in the most respectful-respectful way. “No one shall tear asunder that relationship.”
My past as a former client to dominatrix (Georgia), to her wife/husband, a bondage model with Sandra and American style rigger for Trannies in Trouble, and now a divorcee studying and practicing rope with beautiful souls (LavenderGirlX) that share the same passion of bondage..all this made me who I am today. A bondage loving-fetishist, genderfluid, queer, and cis-Male pretender…
My next post will discuss the origin of my name…..Delilah!
Have a beautiful Sunday, this September 9th, the Day of Our Lord.
